What Are Requirements for Land Registration?

Land Registration in Nigeria requires the following:

  1. Covering letter with address and telephone numbers;
  2. Completed Form 1C;
  3. Certified True Copy (CTC) of title document of assignor;
  4. Current tax clearance certificates of the assignor and assignee;
  5. Internal Revenue Certificate of PAYE Directors (for Limited Liability Companies)
  6. Deed of Consent (four copies)
  7. Survey plan approved by the Surveyor General Office (copy)
  8. Evidence of payment for charting fee, endorsement fee, Form 1C
  9. Land Use Charge receipts
  10. Ground Rent receipt
  11. Photograph of the property
  12. Applicant and/or his agent/legal representative’s identification (copy)
